Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency
The Homeowners Energy Efficiency Loan Program (HEELP) is a program through the PHFA that offers homeowners loans between $1,000 and $10,000 for specific energy efficiency repairs at a fixed-rate of one percent (1%); (APR 1%) for ten years with no prepayment penalties. The affordable payment options make it easier to make energy efficient upgrades without facing huge upfront costs!
HEELP funds can be used toward:
- Energy efficient heating or cooling system repairs or replacements
- Air sealing, insulation, and ductwork
- Energy efficient windows and doors
- Roof replacements

LIHEAP
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides financial assistance to help eligible homeowners pay their heating bills. The cash grants are a one-time payment that is sent directly to your fuel provider to be credited on your bill. If you or someone you know needs help paying for heating, financial assistance may be available through LIHEAP!
